Using 360 Tours in Meta Quest

a. Entering a 360 tour

• Select the tab labeled “360 Tours” or click directly on the thumbnail of the tour you want to explore.
• The first panorama image will load in your headset, along with tooltips that provide basic instructions.
• Use the controller button to close these tooltips and begin navigating freely.

b. Open VR Menu to access advanced tools and scene controls:

• Press the left controller button with three horizontal lines to open the VR menu.

c. Available Options in the VR Menu:

• Scenes: Browse and jump to any panorama in the tour via clickable thumbnails.

• Floor Plan: Navigate using a top-down floor plan, if one has been uploaded

• Cast: Share your VR session live via a browser URL — great for external displays.

• Draw: Mark up your renderings with sketches directly on the 360 images
• Note: Add sticky notes or annotations to call out ideas or issues
• Meetings: Start or join a live collaboration session. Share 4-digit PIN with other Meta Quest users

d. Skip the VR menu entirely by using just the right controller:

Press the trigger button, and:

• Tilt right to move to the next panorama.
• Tilt left to go back to the previous one.

Ideal for quick reviews or when presenting without menu interaction.
