Casting: 3D Walkthroughs using Sentio

The casting workflow in SENTIO VR allows you to present immersive 3D walkthroughs to a broader audience in real time. It works by syncing the view of a VR headset user (the host) with a PC app participant (the viewer), making it ideal for team reviews, stakeholder presentations, or live demonstrations.

Requirements

• Meta Quest headset with the SENTIO VR app installed.
• PC with the SENTIO desktop app • A valid license or trial on your account.

Step-by-Step Workflow

Step 1: Open your 3D model in VR

• Put on your Meta Quest headset.
• Select and launch the 3D model you want to present from your project list.

Step 2: Create a VR Meeting

• Press the left controller menu button (three horizontal lines) to open the VR menu.
• Select the “Meetings” Icon. • Click “Create Meeting” — a 4-digit code will be generated for the session.

Step 3: Join from PC as a viewer

• On your PC, open the SENTIO VR (Saint Theo) app.
• Click on “Join Meeting”, then enter the 4-digit meeting code from the headset. • You will join the meeting as a participant and see what’s happening in VR.

Step 4: Follow the Host

• In the PC app (top-right corner), click “Follow Host”.
