Overview

Upload your IFC file to SENTIO VR and experience it in Virtual Reality on Meta Quest. IFC files are uploaded directly through the SENTIO VR web portal — no plugin required.

Note: Your IFC file must be less than 1 GB. If your file is larger, export a lighter version from your authoring software (e.g., remove unused disciplines or reduce element detail) before uploading.

Upload via Web Portal

1. Log in to your SENTIO VR account at Login.
2. Navigate to Projects.
3. Select 3D Walkthroughs.
4. Click Create New Walkthrough.
5. Drag and drop your IFC file (must be less than 1 GB).
6. Click Next and wait for the upload and processing to complete.
7. You'll receive an email notification once processing is done, along with a 6-digit access code to view your model in VR using the SENTIO VR app on Meta Quest.

Tips

• File size: keep your IFC under 1 GB. Larger files will be rejected at upload.
• Optimization: simplify geometry and remove unnecessary disciplines before exporting to IFC for the smoothest VR performance.
